It has modest depth, although it is quite acceptable for its second wine status. It seems a bit more backward than the 2004 was at a similar time, yet it evolves fairly quickly with air. It will be tasty and a crowd pleaser, fleshy, but tending to thin fast, and having a bright, crisp, flavorful finish.
