Buehler Vineyards 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon
$ 19.98Comprised of 100% cabernet sauvignon, our Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is crafted from grapes grown on our estate hillside vineyards (30%) in conjunction with grapes from other mature, high-quality, low-yielding Napa Valley cabernet vineyards located on the valley floor. We've found the resulting blend to produce a wine that displays a broad spectrum of aromas, flavors, and textures that cabernet can show in the Napa Valley. The wine is brimming with fruit aromas and flavors biased to the black fruit end of the cabernet spectrum: plums, blackberry, black currant. Rich and full-bodied on the palate, this cabernet drinks well on release but will soften and develop with additional age.

2007 Prà Soave Classico Staforte
$ 19.99"It seems like some of the best seafood can be found in Verona.. at least some of the best I've found. Simply prepared and incredibly fresh. Of course a table of wine geeks has a table full of bottles, each attempting to out do the other. Year after year Pra is the best wine on the table. Whether it is the Soave Normale, Soave Staforte or the ultra rare Monte Grande. Pra is one of Italy's finest producers of concentrated, un manipulated, terroir-driven whites from Northern Italy. This 2007 is a rich and intense expression of 100% Garganega. Green apples, flowers and spices contribute to this rich yet delicate and minerally Soave." 91 points - Steve Rayman, B-21 Wine Team "Attractive translucent yellow in color, with pineapple and cream, a hint of anise and a chalky mineral character that characterizes the texture of the palate. Medium-bodied and well-structured. An interesting white. Drink now. 1,665 cases made." 88 points - Wine spectator Web Only 2009

2006 Novy Pinot Meunier Van der Kamp Vineyard Sonoma Mountain
$ 24.99"A 100% Pinot Meunier bottling is rare in both the sparkling and still wine worlds. Despite this, we produced our first Pinot Meunier two years ago and it proved to be quite a hit! The grapes come from the Van der Kamp familys vineyard, high on Sonoma Mountain. Yields were tiny with less than 1 ton per acre and we treated it with the same care as all of our Pinot Noirs. One thing we learned last year is that Pinot Meunier does not like new oak so this year we picked two 2-year-old French oak barrels and aged the wine in those for 10 months prior to bottling. Bottling was done by hand, without fining or filtration. The 2006 Novy Pinot Meunier is a medium-bodied red wine with loads of cranberry and dried flower aromatics. In the mouth there are rich red fruits and a slightly tart finish that come from the wines acidity. In fact, this wine possesses some of the best natural acidity of anything we produce making it a beautiful wine to serve with holiday meals." novyfamilywines.com

This wine was 100% barrel-fermented and was put through 100% malolactic fermentation, but the oak is kept in the background." 90 points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, Issue 180
